Two thousand years ago humanity failed. Representative of the most powerful nation in the world folded to popular pressure and performed a religious teacher without guilt. The people of that man turned him away. Some of his closest students abandoned him or denied him. Angry crowds accused him and condemned him. The soldiers mocked, beat and smiled.
This teacher was crucified, withstanding one of the most notable executed imaginations. Still, the murdered man never returned the anger of those around him. Instead, he did as always. He overlooked all the pain, misery and anger directed to him and offered forgiveness and grace.
On that day, an innocent man died in a horrific way. AND Christian Gospel Matthew tells us that nature itself reacted in anxiety, saying, “At that moment the temple curtain was torn in two from top to the bottom. The earth was shaking, the rocks split and the tombs opened.”

Faced with all the evil who could collect natural and supernatural empires, a carpenter on the cross. (Fox News Digital)
The man who respects Christians as the Son of God – part of the Trinity itself – descended into the darkest, brightest and most important places to absorb the punishment for the sins of the whole world.
IN Christian traditionNow we call this event “Good Friday”. What exactly does it seem good on Friday?
Christians believe that the story of Jesus is the story of the Almighty God who humiliates himself to become embodied by his fallen creation. He did so by born two poor teenagers. He arrived in stable for animals. His arrival was announced not to kings, queens or religious authorities, but several simple shepherds.
Most of his life has lived in ambiguity, a professional with blue collar dedicated to learning crafts, love for others and teaching of holy letters. When he turned to the Ministry, it only lasted for three years. He never wrote a book. He spent some time with rich and powerful, choosing a society affected by illness, hunger and thirst.
At a time of true patriarchy and discrimination, he decided to master with women, renegades, prostitutes and sick. The apostles he chose were not the strongest, but the weakest. Many were illiterate. But their weakness was a point. God has a sense of humor. He does not need strength or power, just faith.
Easter reminds us of big Friday’s darkness always gives way to a place to hope
The Jewish people were expecting a Messiah with a military rule. But Jesus never raised the army or had a weapon. When one of his followers took his weapon and cut his ear from the soldiers, Jesus attached that follower and healed the wounded man. Then this almighty blasphemy died the death of a criminal outside the city on the outskirts of the Empire before several followers and a painful crowd.
All about Jesus was the opposite of what he needed to be. So, isn’t it perfect that we now consider that the only darkest day of humanity has ever experienced “good”?
Etymologically, “Good” on Good Friday may have originally meant “God” or maybe “holy”, but even these terms would be a radical renewal of the day. Even those who deny Jesus’ deity admit that his execution was brutal and unjustified. But just as his early followers have turned one of the scariest symbols of violence in history – the Roman cross – in loyalty and redemption, we also decided not to see Friday because of his failures, but because of his grace.
What is good Friday and why is it important?
Humanity was in the worst case. But Almighty God The universe was at its best. He suffered for us as a sign and sacrifice. He took over a sin that we, ourselves, could not delete. He endured pain and humiliation, which we can never fully know that we come to the chasm of the universe and remind us that we cannot do anything that we cannot do so badly that one cannot be redeemed. And three days after his execution, he rose again, winning over death itself.
And that’s why Good Friday was and is good. Because there is a reason for belief in our greatest despair. In our darkest hours, light is. Faced with all the evil who could collect natural and supernatural empires, a carpenter on the cross.
The message of God is not that life will be perfect. Far from it. The night is dark and full of horror. In this world there is evil and an enemy that breaks like a lion. We’ll suffer. But our suffering is important. Our sadness is important. Our souls are important.

When we go into this holy weekend, a lot can be afraid of it. Our world, as always, is deeply imperfect. There are those filled with evil and bent for destruction. Our bodies, despite our efforts in longevity and wellness, pale. The big nations will fall. Our victories are temporary.
But our suffering is also temporary. Our failures will not last. Evil will not win. Darkness will never extinguish the light. And there is the perfect creator of the universe who, with us, who faced more evil than we, who is dedicated to dealing with us every day with us.
AND Great Christian minister He once told us that we live together in peace and harmony. He called a time when “justice rolled like water and righteousness like a powerful stream.” Good Friday is good because that minister was right.

Maybe we can’t see it throughout our lives. We can go through generations of darkness and despair. But these generations are money. Good Friday is good, because it was the day when all expectations and standards were facing upside down and humanity was forever redeemed.
And always paradoxical The faith of Christianity Keep that we can now see that day of death because of what he truly offered: Eternal life.
