Four Democrats have filed changes and supplements in an effort to increase legislation – although none are unlikely to be adopted, given the committee Republican majority.
The first measure led by Ambassador Jared Huffman, a D-Calif., Would cancel a similar Trump decision to rename McKinley Mountain in Alaska. The highest peak in North America, former President Barack Obama, took the name of his murdered predecessor from the mountain in favor of Mount Denali, a name originally given by indigenous peoples living in the area.
Trump has signed an executive command that renovated McKinley as his name on the first day in the office this year.

The second amendment of delegates Darren Soto, D-FLA, is aimed at restricting Trump’s ability to issue oil and gas oil in the Gulf region.

Rivas told Fox News Digital that the renaming of America is a “vanity project” that “does nothing” in response to a statement about the White House.
“Millions of Americans are fighting for the economic policy of President Trump, and the Republicans have only made a legislative proposal in the Congress that reduces food costs, protects health care or reduces housing costs,” Rivas said.
The bill itself is expected to vote this week.

It is one of several acts of legislation that Republicans progress aimed at Trump’s executive action permanent.
Trump’s executive order renamed the bays was one of the first actions he took in his second term.
The remaining three democratic offices that Fox News Digital reached for the comment did not return at the time of the press.
