Family and friends of those who lost their lives In the deadly American airlines And the military collision of the helicopter share their homage on the net as they wait for more answers on how this tragedy happened.
A collision in Mirair happened around 9pm on Wednesday, when a military helicopter and American Airlines aircraft collided near the National Airport of Reagan outside Washington, DC of all 67 people on board of both aircraft assume they were dead.
Tim Lilley identified his son, 28-year-old Sam Lilley, as the first officer at Flight 5342 American Airlines.
“I was so proud when he became a pilot myself. Now it hurts so bad that I can’t even cry to sleep. I know I’ll see him again, but my heart breaks down,” Tim Lilley wrote in a Facebook post. “He was the first flight officer on the flight to collapse last night in DC. In his career and his personal life he was great. He was engaged to get married in the fall.”

“It’s so devastating to lose someone who is so loved,” he added.
Scott Hubbard Jr., friend and former colleague Sam Lilley, wrote on Facebook: “I had the honor of helping him to help him welcome one of his first flying jobs in Skylens as a departing main pilot that would start his career in the Avio -Company. He was a phenomenal pilot .
“You left an eternal influence on all of us and we are grateful for you,” he added. “Brother of the Blue Sky. And my condolences with all other crew members, passengers and members of the military service in a helicopter. This is a sad day.”
The flight flight attendant is identified as Ian Epstein.
“With a very heavy heart and extreme sadness, along with our children Hannah Epstein and Joanna Epstein and his sister Robbie Epstein Bloom and her husband Steven Bloom and nephews Andi and you are informed that Ian Epstein is one of the participants of the flight to American Airlines Flight 5342 She collided last night when they landed at DC, “wrote Epstein’s debut, Ian’s wife, in a Facebook post. “Please pray for Ian and our family while traveling to DC. We will update when the plans are made.”

“Our sport and this club suffered a terrible loss of this tragedy,” Zeghibe said. “Skating is a narrow community where parents and children gather six or seven days a week to train and work together. They are all like a family. We are devastated and completely in the loss of words.”
“Six terrible numbers for us, but we are lucky and grateful that it was no more than six,” Zeghiba said. “This will have long -term impacts on our skating community.
Two members were coaches who were former world pair champions and two were teenagers. Mother athletes also died, he added.
