The driver was driving a car in a crowd at the Philippine Festival in Vancouver, CanadaOn Saturday night, leaving several victims of the dead and the others injured, local authorities said.
The incident happened shortly after 8pm at the Lapu Lapa party, Vancouver Police Directorate he said in a post on social media.
“Numerous people were killed and more others were injured after the driver entered the crowd at the street festival at E. 41 Avenue and Fraser shortly after 8pm tonight,” police said.

The exact number of people dead or injured is not immediately known.
The driver was In custodythe police said. The motive for the person who drives in the crowd is not clear at this point.
