President Donald Trump He said he did not believe in using a “hole” to seek a third term in office during an interview with Time magazine published on Friday, although he has not yet completely closed the idea.
Trump and some allies float the idea of seeking a third term in 2028, although the 22th amendment of the Constitution prohibits the presidents to serve more than two seats in power.
“You’ve recently said you are”She’s not kidding“On the search for the third term and that there are methods for it. What methods?” Asked time.

“You wouldn’t run as Vice President JD Vance?” The time asked.
Trump answered by presenting his results on a Recent cognitive test.
“I don’t know anything about, what, look, all I can say is this, I am overwhelmed with demands,” he said. “I do a good job. A great physical exam, and unlike any other president, I took the cognitive test and I reached it 100% and I bet you couldn’t get 100% on that exam. It’s a difficult exam. You know, when you get into the middle questions, it gets quite cunning and pretty hard, and the last questions I would be big, and I guarantee it, and I guarantee that I guaranteed it.
Trump told NBC News in March that he was “not joking about” about a third term, which encouraged the alarmed reactions of Democrats and some Republicans who said he had caught power.
“Many people want me to do it,” Trump said. “But, I mean, basically I tell them we have a long way, you know, it’s very early in the administration.”

Steve BannonThe longtime Trump’s ally, who briefly served in his first administration, said HBO Bill Maher earlier this month that Trump would do so.
“President Trump will run for the third term, and President Trump will be elected again in the afternoon on January 20, 2029. He will be president of the United States,” Bannon said to skeptical Maher.
Three quarters of respondents in Reuters/Ipsos National research conducted from April 16 to April 21, and it was announced on Monday that Trump should not run for the third term. Trump, the oldest elected president ever, will be 82 at the end of his second, unchanging term of office in 2029.
