Trump endorses two GOP candidates in AZ governor’s race


Faced with a dilemma after his approval of conservative Karrin Taylor Robson to run for Governor Arizona, president Donald Trump On Monday, he announced that he would support Republican Ambassador Andy Biggs after the MP “unexpectedly” entered the competition.

“I like Karrin Taylor Robson from Arizona a lot, and when she asked me to support her without anyone running, I supported her and I was happy to do so,” Trump wrote. “When Andy Biggs decided to run for the governor, quite unexpectedly, I had problems.”

“Two fantastic candidates, two great people, two wonderful champions, and therefore it is a great honor to give my complete and complete approval to both of them,” Trump said. “Any one will never let you down. Make America again!”

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Robson said she was grateful for Trump’s approval.

“I am so grateful to have had the president’s support! Today, President Donald Trump confirmed what he told me from the rally stage in December, when he invited me to run: to support me and fully supported my Arizona First campaign.

“Thanks, @realdonalddrump!” Biggs wrote on social networks. “It was an honor to support you and fight for your agenda since 2016. I am looking forward to fighting you as the Governor of Arizona, the largest state in the nation!”

Both candidates have committed to focusing on the reduction of taxes and stronger border security.

“I thank President Trump for a strong approval and I look forward to working with him to secure our border and again make Arizona safe,” Robson said in a statement at the time of Trump’s February. “Like President Trump, I know how to create jobs. Like President Trump, I won’t rest while our border is not safe and the Arizona family are not safe.”
