President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday, which forbidden all funding funding for “dangerous” research of obtaining function in China, Iran and other countries and blocking all funding for foreign research that could cause another pandemic.
On Monday afternoon, the President signed an order to improve the safety and security of biological research in the United States around the world.
The White House said that “the command” drastically reduced the potential for laboratory incidents that include exploring the obtaining function, such as those who were carried out by Ecohealth Alliance and the Wuhan Institute of Virology on the Coronavirus BAT in China. ”

The White House said that the command would protect Americans from laboratory accidents and other incidents of biological security, “like those who probably caused a 1977 Covid-19 and a Russian flu.”
The President’s command ends any present and all future federal funding for the research of function in countries with insufficient surveillance of research and enables the US research agency to recognize and end the federal financing of any other biological research that could represent a threat to American public health, public safety or national security.
“For decades, policies that oversee the research of the producing function on pathogens, toxins and potential pathogens have lacked appropriate implementation, transparency and supervision from above down,” said the White House in the list of facts describing the command. “Researchers have not recognized the legitimate potential for the social damage that this type of research represents.”

The command, according to the White House, “protects Americans from dangerous explorations of function that manipulates viruses and other biological agents and toxins, but does not interfere with productive biological research that will ensure that the United States maintained their willingness against biological threats and continue to trigger global leadership in biotechnology, and health research and health.

“President Trump has been theorized for a long time that Covid-19 is derived from missing the laboratory at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and consistently advocated the transparency in exploring his origin,” said the White House.
