No decisions were made on whether to make a potential ban on traveling more than 40 countries, said the White House for Fox News Digital on Monday.
Countries may face serious or total travel limits launched by the United States, according to reports from Reuters AND New York Times. Fox News Digital was unable to confirm the details of the proposed program independently.
The opponents reported that the citizens of Afghanistan, Iran, Cuba, Butan, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Sudan, Venezuela and Yemen would not be allowed to enter the US under the proposal. These 11 countries would become under a “red” level in the color coded system, reports in reports.
During the briefing state department on Monday, Tammy Bruce spokeswoman said the list does not exist, but there is a permanent examination.
“Well, first of all, no census,” she said. “What people are watching during these last few days is not a list that exists here on. There is a review, as we know through the president’s executive order, to look at the nature of what will help us to be safer when we deal with a visa issue and who is allowed in the country.
“But what is sold as an object as an object through a state department simply is simply not the case.”
Other countries, such as Russia and Pakistan, would still have allowed travel – unlike a complete prohibition – but they would still face obstacles when it comes to gaining a visa. This level is considered a “orange” level.

Allegedly various countries, including many in Africa, are also accompanied by potential limitations at a “yellow” level and would have about two months to make changes to avoid being placed on a “orange” or “red” level. The yellow level allegedly includes the Caribbean nations, including Saint Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as Antigua and Barbud.
Reuters reports that in some way it would affect 41 countries, although the Times sets the number in 43 countries.

At the beginning of the first Trump administration, an executive order that forbids the journey from Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Libya faced legal obstacles and opponents was a “Muslim ban on” because of the demographics of these nations. Proponents at the time claimed that it was necessary to ensure a strict monitoring procedure who enters the country.
When President Trump signed an executive order to ban travel and implementation of “extreme check” for certain countries in January 2017, he issued a statement This partly said, “To be clear, this is not a Muslim ban, because the media is falsely reporting. It’s not a religion – it’s about the terror and guarding our country.”
“There are over 40 different countries around the world that are mostly Muslims to which this order does not affect.” Trump said at the time.

In the meantime, criticisms are already developing for a new proposal.
“Today’s International Day to fight Islamophobia, all too timely and relevant at our current moment. With the threat of reduced civic freedoms and the so -called Muslim travel in the work, New Yorkers must remain united and refuse to participate in hatred and heritage,” the public advocate of New York, the public deputy D. Williams.
“I hope someone in [the State Department] Reviews this list and notes that any type [travel ban] On Butan, the Himalayan Buddhist Kingdom (population: ~ 800,000) was pierced between India and China, extremely crazy, “said the colleague of the American Institute of Enterprise Sadanand Dhuma in the X Posta.
The Homeland Security Ministry did not respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment on the post to publish. Customs and border protection said “I can’t comment on internal documents”.
