A strikingly similar incident took place two years ago when a Polish tourist decided to scaldy the same pyramid.
The man was filmed running the stairs of the Holy Temple before the passerby hit him with a stick while the authorities put him arrested. The man was in prison for 12 hours and was punished by 5000 pesos, according to the Mexico Daily Post.
