Tom Green never felt his ‘authentic self’ in Hollywood, shares why he prefers a much simpler life in Canada

In a new interview for New York TimesThe comedian and actor, 53, opened up about their decision to return home to their native land of Canada and explained why he enjoys simpler things in life.

“People are likely to be surprised that I didn’t, like, completely crazy,” Green said. “There is a kind of healthy hearty thing – to have a close relationship with my family, to love animals, to enjoy doing a lot of things that a large number of people in the world enjoy it, such as going into that forest.”

While Green, who lives on a farm, enjoys quiet life, remains busy with an upcoming American tour that combines stand-up comedy and music from his new album album “Home to the Earth.”

Green is not the only star who has been throwing out Hollywood lately.

Daniel Stern, best known for playing one of the wet bandit, Marv, in A classic 1990 holiday movie “Home,” he spends most of his time growing livestock and creating sculptures on his farm in Ventura, California.
