Tom Brady reveals he took 15-minute nap before playing in 1st Super Bowl

Tom Brady During his career, he won seven Super Bowla Championships with New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

During the 2001 season, Brady had to step up as an initial striker for the injured Drew Bledsoe and led Patriots to his first Super Bowl appearance in several years. At that moment, Brady was only in his second season in Nova England, and he seemed to be cool like the other side of the pillow.

He explained to his colleagues Fox Erin Andrews and Michael fearsd “The Madden Cruiser Tour: Bayoua’s Adventure with Bill Belichick” that he decided to postpone the Super Bowl XXXVI against St. Louis Rams. The game was played at the Superdome in New Orleans.

“We had to warm up on the field and then we had 50 minutes before we came back. So, I took off my pads and I was like, you know, I will just lie down and take a break and I literally took it and a 15 -minute nap before the game,” he explained.

Strahan was stunned and said he would be nervous all day.

“The difference is that when you are young, you do not understand the hugeness of what you are going through because I haven’t been in the league for so long. Eighteen years later, when I played in Super Bowl, I couldn’t sleep the night before the game,” Brady said.

Brady will come back to where he won his first Super Bowl.
