Right-leaning podcasters and influencers were instrumental in swinging the election for the president Donald Trumpaccording to a new report.

“Trump’s personality and history are compatible with the program’s messages about masculinity,” Alice Marwick, director of research at the Institute for Data and Society Research, told Bloomberg.

“It’s like, don’t be ashamed of your basic male desires,” she added. “Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty, don’t let anyone bring you down. You should be proud and strong, and you should go after people criticize you.”
