The home and the Senate are far from the approval of the “great, beautiful law” President Trump to reduce consumption, tax reduction and probably increase the upper debt limit.

But the next step in the process begins to take place this afternoon and over the next 48 hours.

The Senate probably voted between 16 and 18:00 on Thursday to actually “continue” on the processed budget frame. The frame is required according to the special budget rules that the Senate uses to avoid the Filibuster, which would kill the bill.

If Senate It fails to continue, Republicans have big problems. But if the Senate can progress in advance, it can actually start up to 50 hours of discussion on an updated budget package and go to what is called “Voice-Rama” on Friday night. The Senate would probably end this step in the process and adopted a new frame in the Sabbath hours of Saturday morning or maybe during the day on Saturday.

“Vote-A-Rama” is really just a very senile way to say “a long series of voices that probably lasts all night.” The Senate of the rifle via voting to call after a call to call for hours vote for hours. Most votes-Rama last 10-15 hours. They are always related to the budget procedure. And, due to special budget rules, the senators can offer an unlimited number of amendments – and that is why there are so many votes.

Republicans will try to go through this procedure as quickly as possible – although some conservatives can offer changes and supplements to further reduce debt or something related to the upper debt limit.

Democrats are likely to offer many amendments to get vulnerable Republicans in records of controversial issues such as possible reductions in Medicare and Medicaid and even tariffs.

The bottom line is as follows:

There is a great interest in Congress Progressing a “big, beautiful account”. It is the stone of the legislative program of President Trump and probably the most significant legislation that came before the congress in the next two years. But to reach the point where home and the Senate can actually try to approve the law itself is an exhaustive process for several months. However, this incremental step is crucial for coming there. And that is why the interested parties will focus on the vote-Ram starting from Friday night and when he is done.

Also, why start this procedure so late on Thursday and force the Senate to meet on Friday night and weekends? Especially when the Senate had more weekend sessions and several overnight sessions this year? These include all -night, record speech Senator Cory BookerDn.j., earlier this week.

There is some method of madness.

First, the Senate must go through this step. It’s time from essence. But secondly, Fox was said to be able to limit the length of votes-rames until later in the week if the Senate does not start by Friday night. This does not mean that voting-ram will not be long and tiring. But that could shorten the procedure.

Let’s take a step back so that we can look forward to what home and the Senate still have to do to pass the tax reduction and a plan of reducing consumption. There are eight steps potentially. Senate proposal over the next few days is a step third.

In February, the Senate adopted the initial budget outline so that it could use a special “budget reconciliation process” and avoid the Filibuster.

House He approved his own version of the budgetary outline at the end of February – although the consequences of the Philibuster mean nothing to the house. But the question was that the home and the Senate approved different budget frames. They still need to synchronize.

So these were the steps one and two of this long process.

The fourth step probably comes next week when the updated Senate package goes to the house. Speaker Mike JohnsonR-L., Said Wednesday night that he would like to match the house with the Senate frame next week. So that means another voice. However, some interpreters could look thoughtful at the numbers of consumption in the Senate. Those close to the Senate process told Fox that these figures represent “Under” to reduce consumption. Is not a “ceiling”. But the end of the Senate may not please as more conservatives of home.

Why does the Senate do this this way? In accordance with the special, strict budget rules of the Senate.

Johnson seemed last night after sworn in New Reps. Jimmy Patronis, R-Fla, and Randy Fine, R-Fla., Wednesday.

“The margin is a little more comfortable. It’s a shame of wealth. Now we can lose, which, three votes now or something like that.”

Your truly asked Patronis if he and Fine would vote for a still incomplete package when he came from the Senate.

“I vote for my speaker,” Patronis replied.

“Right!” He remembered Johnson.

It is possible that the speaker was glad he had a reserve after one of the worst weeks of his term. Johnson has lost the internet fight over the mediator of voting for members who are pregnant or new moms. This blocked the house to consider other major accounts and forced him to close the house until Tuesday by the end of the week.

Regardless, if the home adopts a plan now before the Senate, they go on steps five and six. The home and the Senate are actually gathering, discussing and probably forwarding the account itself. These steps will be the most challenging set so far. And that probably includes another vote in the Senate.

Then we may have steps seven and eight. There may be another set of votes to reconcile – if both bodies have approved different accounts.

Because of this, the adoption of a “big, beautiful account” could last until summer. And there will undoubtedly be additional hiccups along the way.
