Allison defender, Zachary Boyd, told KWTX that he was pleased with the jury decision in a very challenging case.
“The Allison family is so sorry about their loss, because there is no good outcome. There is no happy ending in the sense that everyone will go here, feeling happy here,” Boyd said.
“The world is not black and white. The world is shades of gray and, ultimately, we are left with the question of what to do when the problem of violence or a child is so scared that it brings a knife to the school to defend itself?”
