Team President Sean M. O’Brien and Director of Division for Film Pictures Lindsay Dougherty praised President Donald Trump’s invitation to market a 100% tariff on movies produced in other countries.
On Sunday, on Sunday, the social post Trump wrote that “the film industry in America is dying very fast death.” He continued to warn, “other countries offer all kinds of incentives to distract our filmmakers and study far from the United States,” and that “Hollywood and many other areas in the US are devastated.”
Trump added that plans for the tariff institute were ongoing, and he approved the Ministry of Trade and MPs of the United States trade “to immediately begin the process of establishing 100% of tariffs on any films that come to our country produced in foreign countries.”
Two union representatives of teams praised Trump for that ua statementsaying, “For years, Hollywood studios have elongated the industry by following the corporate American criminal book outsourcing of good union union. Studios persecution of cheap production costs abroad while swallowing the US workforce that has built the film and TV industry.”

The president of the team praised Trump for the new tariff he suggested, suggesting that Democrats were reflexively against any agenda he accepted.
“These giant corporations align their pockets with reckless cuts of corners, leaving American crews and using tax holes abroad,” the statement added. “While these companies enrich themselves flee to other countries and play the system, our members have screwed up. The Teamster Alliance has been sounding alarm for years. If studies want to benefit from US offices, they must invest in US workers.
The statement included an explicit statement of praise for Trump himself, declaring: “We thank President Trump for boldly supported the good jobs of the union when others turned their heads. The union explained that they were ready to commend representatives of any party for accepting such a daily row.

O’Brien talked about a statement of the Union about Fox News “American Reports” Tuesday, confirming his support for Trump’s policy. He claimed that America had the most creative workforce and actors, but broke the Hollywood leaders because of more focused on the “bottom of the balance sheet” than to creativity.
At one point in the interview, the host Fox News John Roberts asked the union chief what he thought about how Democrats “demonize” the president. O’Brien suggested that the Democratic Party was reflexively against everything Trump wants.
“I think I said it before, whatever President Trump does, even if it is good for this country, just because his name is Trump, he won’t get support,” O’Brien said of the Democratic Party. “We look beyond all the differences of the opinions we had with anyone.”
