“Saturday Night Live” was aimed at the new tariff politics of President Donald Trump and the increasing bounce against Tesla in a bit of political sketch this weekend, taking out a new phrase to mock the president’s economic look: Magda – “Make America with great depression.”
“We are [going to] Do Magda, “said a member of the acting group James Austin Johnson, repeating his role as Trump.
“Make America a great depression again. It will be better than great, it will be a fantastic, amazing depression.”
The cold-opening sketch started with Trump that he chased the recent turmoil on the market caused by his suggested tariffs, claiming that it was a “all part of the plan” and jump in, “there is nowhere, but maybe above or maybe still down.”

“This depression [going to] Be so great, we will be those who eat cats and dogs. That’s [going to] Be fun, “he added.

The sketch comes as the latest circle Trump’s tariffs entered into force earlier this week. This week’s steep losses for the S&P 500 and Nasdaq have been among the worst in the last decade, as the supplies have fallen on the other day in a row.
President Trump urged Americans to give him time about politics, writing on the social media platform Truth social“We are returning businesses and companies as never before. For more than five trillion dollars of investment and growing fast! This is an economic revolution, and we will win.”
The segment contained a parade of fabricated administration data, including secretary of the Howard Luttleticka trade, which seemed to be distant from the tariff, and Elon musk as head of the Government Efficiency Department (Doge).
Musk, who played the return of former member of the acting team Mike Myers, joined “Trump” on the podium wearing Wisconsin cheesehead and shooting jokes about the recent state election of the Supreme Court and Tesla’s rough public image.

“That was when I tried to buy elections in Wisconsin“Musk said about the main blanket.

“I’m an idiot, I just needed to buy Wisconsin.”
The sketch then introduced the fictional new Tesla Innovation: a vandalized car. Myers-as-Musk has discovered Tesla’s model V, claiming that he could autonally draw raw paintings or graffiti, such as swastika, all without human intake.
“Recently, our MPs have been a target of so much attack and suddenly nobody likes Tesla cars,” Musk said.
“So I wondered why? Then I answered myself, for me.”

He continued: “Let’s introduce a new Tesla model V, the first electric car in history that is completely self-pursuing. With features such as solo lights, self-slaughtered tires and graffiti with AI drive.”
The sketch comes in the middle of spikes in incidents against Tesla throughout the country. Documented recent Fox News report More than 50 cases Violence aiming for Tesla’s vehicles, charging stations and owners, including Keing, hate graffiti, fire, and even alleged shooting.
