Acting us Deputy State Attorney Emil Bove and the Trump administration border czar Tom Homan Visited Chicago Sunday, saying the two were working in “lockstep” to address the “national emergency” caused by Biden’s failed immigration policies.
Bove released a statement Sunday about steps being taken to address illegal immigration in Chicago and around the country.
“This morning I had the privilege of watching the brave men and women of the department deploy in lockstep with DHS to address the national emergency stemming from four years of failed immigration policy,” he said. “In Chicago and across the country, the FBI, DEA, ATF, USMS, and federal prosecutors are working with DHS to secure the border, stop this invasion, and make America great again. We will support everyone at the federal, state, and local levels joining this critical effort. mission to give back to our communities.”
The deputy attorney general also said that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will use all available tools to address any obstructions and illegal obstacles to efforts to protect the U.S. to protect the U.S.

“Most importantly, we will not rest until the job is done,” Bove added.
In a video obtained by Fox News, Homan and Bove were seen speaking ahead of an immigration effort in Chicago on Sunday. Homan can be heard in the video telling those listening that they are the first in the country to cheer the enforcement effort.
Bove also spoke, told enforcement teams that it was important to show that DHS was leading the operation and that DOJ was keeping up with them.

He also emphasized the importance of safe execution of the execution and that they were carrying out the mission President Donald Trump was chosen to carry out.

The sanctuary are defined by the policy of not turning illegal aliens over to federal authorities when they are arrested. The aliens are then often released back into the community.
Homan invited Officials in sanctuary cities who helped the effort on “Fox & Friends” last week. “Work with us, because you forced us into the community.”
He continued, “Here’s what’s going to happen. We’re going to find the bad guy, but when we find him, he’s going to be with others, others who may not be a criminal priority. But guess what? If they’re in the United States illegally, they’re going to be arrested, too.”
Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul was a guest on MSNBC’s “Alex Witt Reports” Sunday and discussed Bove’s visit to Chicago.
“It’s no surprise to me that he or others descended on Chicago. They are clear that Chicago in our state will be a target,” Raoul said. “I can’t explain exactly what he’s doing, what he plans to look at. But what I can tell you is that we’ve been cooperating with federal law enforcement on a variety of fronts in all kinds of criminal investigations, and we’ll continue to do so.

“We’re not in a position to interfere with proper immigration enforcement. That’s the job of the federal government through ICE, and that’s going to happen, and we’re not going to interfere with that,” Raoul continued. “What we’re going to stand in the way of is state or local resources being used to enforce civil immigration. We have the 10th Amendment to help clarify the role of federalism in our country, the balance between the powers of the federal government and the state government.
