Romanian right -wing presidential leader has banned the race under criminal charges compared to that president Donald Trump faced.
“We are also confronted with the communist regime,” Călin Georgesca told Fox News Digital just before the Romanian election bureau was banned from running in the May presidential election. Prosecutors opened a criminal case against him two weeks earlier.
Chaos broke out on the streets of the capital of Romania, Bucharest, after the bureau announced his decision to knock on the right -wing populist from the ballot. Georgescu was the main voter in the results of the first elections, which were canceled.

“They try to destroy democracy,” Georgesca claimed. “They could not accept that they were losing strength and access to money.”

He refused to say if he would get Romania out of NATO.
“The United States is the first partner,” he said. “So, whatever I have to do, whatever I want to do, this is the main part I recognize. The United States as a principled flag of democracy and freedom. And this is the principle of a partner I am looking for.”
