Retired NYPD officer assaulted by group of teens: report

The 65-year-old man was attacked in “gang attacks” this week in New York City A group of teenagers, the New York Police Department confirmed.

The man was demolished during the attack and sustained minor injuries to the face and knees during the alleged attack that took place on the upper east side of Manhattan near Park Avenue.

He rejected medical attention at the scene, police said.

“They asked for problems, harassing everyone they saw,” the victim said, the post said. “When they started to bother the taxi driver, I crossed and told them to leave him alone. Then a coward hit me from the back with my backpack.”

All five alleged attackers are described as males with bright skin.
