Pentagon fired a commander at the US space forces in Greenland after being distanced from Vice President JD Vance, who recently visited the headquarters.
After visiting Vice -President, Colonel Susannah Meyers sent a basement of the E -Em -March on March 31, writing: “I don’t assume I understand the current politics, but what I know is the concern of the American administration she discussed about Vice President Vance On Friday, they do not reflect on the Pituffik space base. “

“The commanders are expected to adhere to the highest standards of behavior, especially as it refers to the rest of the non -partisans in performing their duties,” the statement said.
Colonel Shawn Lee has now taken over the order, Space Force said.
“Actions to undermine command chain or mock the President Trump’s agenda will not be tolerated in the Ministry of Defense,” spokesman for Chief Pentagon Sean Parnell published on X.
In July, Meyers became commander of the 821 space base group, according to a Facebook post on the Ceremony of Ceremony of Command.
Republican Sens. Tommy Tuberville, Ala., Eric Schmitt, Mo., and Jim Banks, Ind., All praised the shooting of the commander on X.

During his visit, Vance criticized Denmark with a snow covered island for treating Greenland as “second -rate citizens.”
“Our message to Denmark is very simple”, ” Vance said. “You’re not a good job by people of Greenland. You have been underforced in the inhabitants of Greenland and you have been involved in the safety of this amazing, beautiful land mass.”
The vice president further accused Denmark of not guarding Grenland on safe from China and Russia.
Vance was the highest official who has ever traveled to a database in Pituffic, said the White House.
Trump’s administration made Greenland acquiring a superior goal.
“We need Greenland for national security and international security,” Trump said on March 11th.

“So, I think we will go as much as we have to go,” the president continued, speaking from the oval office. “We need Greenland. And we need the world to have Greenland, including Denmark. Denmark must have Greenland. And, you know, we’ll see what’s going on. But if we don’t have Greenland, we can’t have great international security.”
“I look at it from a security point of view, we have to be there,” Trump added.
