Sondders Backers Audrey Lowry and Landry Sam were present at Gaines’s speech at the Turn Poind event, says OU Daily. The women were far from the only Sonders athletes at the event.

“She just wants to be sure that everyone has a quite chance and it’s clear that she cares,” she said. “It’s very easy to connect with that.”
Haley Bergstrom, a rower for Oklahoma, supported the posture of biological males from girls and female sports. She pointed to biological differences between men and women. “Biologically, men just have an advantage over women, no matter what,” she said. “So we just want to maintain it simply, but there is no problem against trans people in general.”
Gaines received protest protests at school.
“I am really upset by the kind of panic I have seen as it has developed in the last few years – the proposal that trans people are dangerous, to harm society, to allow trans people to participate in everyday life somehow the risky thing that should be avoided,” said Cynthia Teague librarian Theukhohou Ask.fm/.
“Especially with sports, there are so many trans -a -models at any elite level, and participating in sports is something that I think trans teenagers, especially, should be able to.”
