At least seven human remains found over Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts Between March and April, the “Review and Investigation” order, according to the criminal defense based in Pennsylvania and the former Lawrence Matthew Mangino Prosecutor.
In the last two months, human remains have been housed in New Haven, Norwalk, Groton and Killingly, Connecticut; Foster, Rhode Island; and framingham and Plymouth, Massachusetts.
At the moment, it is unclear whether the death of these seven victims are connected in any way, and the Connecticut state police told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that “there is currently no information that suggests connection with similar remains, and there is no known public threat”, in connection with the death cases in Connecticut.
Internet Sleuths, which are part of a private Facebook page with tens of thousands of members, however, have encouraged speculation about the perpetrator of a lone wolf.
“Whether it’s accidental or not, I think it deserves an examination and an investigation,” Mangino told Fox News Digital. “The collaboration between different jurisdictions to determine if there is any threat to individuals or not, it may happen while we are talking. We don’t know that, but I think it deserves such supervision.”
Part of that investigation, Mangino said, should include the search for any “patterns” between the appropriate deaths or the crime scene.
“These different jurisdictions must gather and compare notes and reports. At first you can see if there are similarities between these deaths,” Mangino said. “Are these killings? I mean, we can discover that these are natural deaths or … it could be suicide, it could be accidental. So the number one question is: is there enough to determine the cause and the way of death? “
Sometimes a A serial killer may have a procedure from the “insulation” of the body or targeting certain victims that share certain physical features or backgrounds.
“It certainly deserves an investigation and a review.”
Brian Higgins, Assistant Faculty of Criminal Justice John Jay and former police chief and public security director in Bergen County, New Jersey, noted that three victims were identified in these seven cases as women. Police also believe that the victim was found in Killingly in the 40th by the 1960s.
