Austin Hill picked up his second win 2025 Nascar Xfinity Series The season on Saturday night at Speedway Martinsville, but in the end she came with some controversy.
The race went to the extension of the two rounds, Sammy Smith jumped ahead and fought with Brandon Jones and Taylor Gray for the first place. Hill was out of the top five. As the drivers were moving toward the butt, several cars entered the wall, but the yellow flag was not waved.

Gray took the lead as he started to turn around, but had Justin Allgaiera on his bumper. It looked like the race would go down to Gray, Smith and Allgaier, but in the last turn the ride became more aggressive.
Smith scored into the back of Gray’s last turn and moved it on the first place. Jones then entered the back of Gray, and Allgaier tried to switch the track first. But their cars and slided down the trail and that hill lowered the inside with a small push of Sheldon Creed to pick up the victory.
The massive wreck occurred as cars crossed the starting line.
No one seemed to be pleased with how the race was over. Series NASCAR CUP The star Denny Hamlin let his thoughts know with hours before his race in Martinsville began.

“Absolutely garbage,” he wrote on X. “God, I wish I was in the cabin. The id was fired, but I would have been damn I would surely call these idiots.”
Gray told CW Sports that he felt like he had a “best car all day.”
“It’s unhappy. It’s the same story I’ve lived here for two years, for two Martinsville (races) in a row,” he said. “It’s shit, but that’s what it is.”

Smith talked about the last circles with reporters.

Darlington Raceway is next in the arrangement of the XFINITY series. Allgaier still holds points with the mayor alone in second and Hill in third place. Creed is fourth, and Jesse Love is in fifth place.
