Multiple pedestrians struck by box truck in Boston


More pedestrians were injured after a truck with boxes hit the Boston police on Tuesday afternoon.

A truck, a jaundice rental truck, hit several pillars and flipped over his side before entering between a pillar and a building, the authorities said.

At least two people are in a critical state, and firefighters used tools to remove the trapped driver from the truck cab, said the police spokesman.

The incident happened around 12:40 in Chinatown Boston, on Harrison Avenue near Kneeland Street, which is about half a mile away from the center of Boston.

Harrison Ave. And Kneeland Street are closed between Tyler and Washington Street, police said.
