A 16-year-old Missouri girl who disappeared since December Almost 700 miles away was found in the house of a registered sex offender.
Police officers from the Fort Collins Police Directorate brought home to Colorado on April 15. After receiving advice via an Instagram account of a missing teenager, who was dormant since it was reported that he disappeared on December 6, 2024, according to his arrest Affidavit got 9news.
On April 16, investigators found that he had accessed her account from an IP address in a house where 44-year-old Maximilian Bondrsca lived.
Since Bondrescu is a registered sex offender, investigators have received a warrant and went to their home on April 18, the officials said.

Bondresca denied the officers that she had a girl in the house, but later found she was hiding in the closet, said Affidavit.
“The house has been searched and the missing minors are located inside. Bondrescu is currently a registered sex offender,” police said in a statement on their Facebook page. Police confirmed that Bondrescu was reserved in the Larimer district prison and is faced with numerous accusationsincluding the following:
The victim was 15 when she was initially reported disappeared outside Columbia, Missouri, when school officials informed her father that she was not at school that morning, the statement says. He told the police that when he returned home from work, she was still not at home, and he could not reach her on the phone.

The victim, who was not identified because of her age, told investigators that she had started communicating with Bondrescu in November 2024. On the app called “Boo”, but then moved their conversations to Snapchat.
Police said “the investigation revealed that Bondrescu had rented a driving vehicle in Missouri where he met with a minor female and then drove to Colorado.”

According to the statement, Bondrescu picked it up in the middle of the night and “headed a route that avoided any road.”
When they arrived in Colorado, the victim told the police, Bondresca wrapped in a blanket and took it to the house “so no one would see her.” Bondrescu also made to dye his hair and wear a mask and sunglasses if they ever go out, documents said.

Police added that the victim reported to investigators that she was detained against her will, but Bondrescu would sometimes perform her and make her work for his snow removal company, Foco SNO Go.
While forced to work for Bondrescu, police said, she also needed to wear a mask as she shoveled to cover up her identity and age.

“The importance of the work done by the Police Unit for Cyber Crime Fort Collins and similar units across the country play a vital role in helping our children keep our children,” said Police Chief Fort Collins Kristy Volesky. “If there were no diligent work of these detectives, the minor could be a victim. Our investigators will now work closely to the District Attorney’s Office to ensure justice for this child.”
Bondresca is held on a $ 500,000 taxpayer and the date of his court scheduled for Monday, May 5, according to the Larimer prison record.
