Michael Feldman, Julie Henderson and Shannon Ryan will be honored at the Saban Community Clinic’s second annual Communicator Awardswhich recognize PR professionals and executives across the entertainment and media industries.
Held on June 5, the Communicator Awards will benefit Saban Community Clinic’s pursuit in providing “outstanding, compassionate care to anyone who needs it.” All proceeds from the event will go towards medical, dental and behavioral care services for low-income and uninsured men, women and children.
Feldman, a chairman of FGS Global North America, is this year’s communications leadership honoree while the leadership in technology communications award will be granted to Henderson for her work as CCO of Snap. As the president of marketing for Disney Entertainment Television, Ryan is set to receive the communications champion title for her marketing and publicity strategies for the company.
Presenters for the esteemed night include USC Annenberg’s Dean Willow Bay, Snap Inc. CEO Evan Spiegel and Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden. Last year, Bay was presented with the inaugural communications leader of the year award. Additional awardees at the 2024 Communicator Awards included The Lede Company, who received the communications agency of the year title, and Louisa Hager of Weber Shandwick, who was presented with the rising star communicator award.
“My hope is that this event will generate interest among the PR community in supporting the Saban Clinic and the critical health services they provide to Angelenos,” said Carrie Davis, a member of the Friends Board of the Saban Community Clinic. “This year’s honorees are among the greatest communicators in business today. They are trusted and essential advisors and strategists who have set the bar for communications excellence.”
She added, “It is thrilling to see such worthy executives be lauded for their invaluable contributions to industry at large.”
