The New York Police Directorate (NYPD) said the officials responded to the “heart” call at 911 at the Bensonhurt House neighborhood in southern Brooklyn Around 10:30 in the morning for an attack reports.
Police said one of the children, an 11-year-old, called 911 and said her uncle, Jessica Tisch, a NYPD commissioner, were shared during a press conference.
“The 111-year-old caller 911, who was the victim herself, hid in the room to call the police, and the young, unmarried boy ran to warn his neighbor,” Tisch said.

According to the police, the 11-year-old victim was able to call 911, while another unharmed child ran to the neighbor’s house for help after being attacked by a man with smart meat. (Fox 5 Nyc)
When the police arrived at the scene, they heard the children scream from the inside. Tisch said that the officers “immediately began to force their path” to the home.
“Once they came in, they met with a man standing near the entrance holding a large meat covered with blood and could see blood on the floor and walls of the house,” Tisch described.
The cops then ordered the man to reject the weapon several times, but Tisch said he had refused and ran into the officers. The police opened the fire on the man, hitting him and ending the threat.

Two knives were recovered from the site; One is described as a “great” splitter that the man held. Another knife, covered with blood, was found in a separate room, the officials said.
Officers found four young girls, at the age of 16, 13, 11 and 8, who were all in the apartment at the time of the attack, all with serious hair and stab wounds, Tisch said.
“At this point, it is expected that all four children, thank God, will survive,” Tisch said. “But that could end very differently. The officers and EMS arrived at the door within a few minutes of receiving the call 911. Their fast, decisive action set the location and demolished the door absolutely saved the lives of these young girls.”

The suspect was identified as a long Chen, 49, and officials said that his accurate attitude towards the victims was under investigation, he is believed to be a relative. Police said he was in a critical condition.
Investigators believe that the mother of children was out of the house when the attack occurred.

Family members told the authorities that Chen had had history of mental illness, But there seemed to be no previous incidents of domestic violence in the house.
“Obviously, the motive of this terrible attack is still under investigation, and we will provide more information when we have them,” said John Chell, head of the NYPD department.
“We know that there were five children, four injured and young men who went so boldly to neighbors to warn the neighbors to call us, and also that 11-year-old who went to that room and that call made a pretty heroic on their behalf.”
