Man listed as Sen. Booker staffer arrested at Capitol on Monday


The congress officer was arrested for allegedly wearing a gun without a permit after being a member of the Congress at the Capitol in US Capitol, police discovered on Tuesday.

The Capitol Police of the United States said in the statement: “Yesterday afternoon, a member of the Congress led a member of the ID’ed staff about the security breakthrough at the Hart Senate office building.”

“Later that evening, outside the Senate Gallery, a member of the IdeD staff – who is a retired law clerk – he told our officers armed.”

“A member of the staff, 59-year-old Kevin A. Batts of New Jersey, was arrested for wearing a gun without a permit. All weapons were forbidden for capitol reasons, even if you are a retired law clerk or have a permit to carry in another country or Columbia district,” he continues.

Batts is listed as the “special assistant” by Senator Cory Booker, dn.j., on a legistrom, research subject that routinely updates wages and information on legislators and their staff.

Booker’s office did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital comment request.
