The 12,388-rate mountain was named UNESCO in the 2013 World Heritage Site. The mountain was once a pilgrimage place and is now increasingly popular with mountaineers.
Last year, local authorities tried to control overcrowding and risks of hurrying overnight climbing with rocky slopes to look at the sunrise by introducing a ticket and restrictions on the number of people who can enter the most popular trail.
