Katz added that he had never heard of a dragon in his 43-year career that hit the plane before. He said that the commercial interference of the flight from the ground occurs often, but mostly from people who shine lasers on planes.
This last incident comes the day after Delta Air Lines’s aircraft almost overthrew Midair with the Air Force Air Force T-38 near DCA.
