Kansas highway soldier Saved a 6-year-old The girl disappeared over a month after she was abducted and took two men she was in custody with, the authorities said on Saturday.

The soldier noticed the girl around that age in a vehicle with a passenger and driver, both men in the 60s, a highway patrol told. It was also revealed that the driver had a criminal history that included killings and numerous weapons violations.
The soldier, with the help of a local Sheriff’s deputy, secured both men before he was sure to remove the girl from the vehicle, the highway patrol told.

“This 6-year-old girl gave the soldier a false name and date of birth, after training to do so, in an attempt to adult to remain from prison,” the agency said. “Ultimately, our soldier calmed the girl and made her tell him his real name.”
