Kentucky Derby 2025: Sovereignty wins Run for the Roses

Sovereignty took home Kentucky Derby Saturday in Louisville.

Inside, it was a non -working start, with the early leadership of Bob Baffert, and journalism, the favorite of Morningline, not near the top.

Journalism found problems on the first step, and Jokej Umberto Rispoli moved it on the outside. He and sovereignty met on the eighth half before the sovereignty and junior Joker Alvarado withdrew.
