Watkins compiled an extraordinary first campaign during the 2023-24 season, and its impressive effect continued this year. Los Angeles originally amounted to 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33 games this season.

USC coach Lindsay Gottlieb said Watkins’ status for the 2025-26 season was unclear.
“We don’t know what Juju will do. Will you take a whole year and a red T -shirt? Will she try to come back at some point,” Gottlieb for ESPN Monday. “These are not conversations right now, but I think we will dive that we remain an elite team regardless of these circumstances. We will have time to figure out how great, even if he is not out there.”
