Federal judge on Thursday ordered the Trump administration officials included in Government Efficiency Department (Doge) testify in a legal dispute that seeks to block Doge’s approach to sensitive government databases.

US District Judge John Bates said that officers from the Department of Work and Human Services, the Consumer Protection Office and other agencies associated with Doge who led Elon Mošus will sit for examination under the oath of lawyer for trade unions and other groups of complaining to block the efforts of Doge for the Federal Bureaucracy.

Groups claim that some dog officials and allies have already received access to sensitive databases and that the care of the privacy of federal workers are neglected.

Bates has previously refused to completely block access to Doge.

Bates Limited depositions up to eight o’clock, but a certain time line was not announced. The names of those who will be asked to testify have not been discovered.

“It would be strange to allow the defendants to submit evidence involved in critical facts and continue to rule on a preliminary proposal for the prohibition without permission to the prosecutor to investigate these facts through a very limited discovery,” the judge wrote.

Bates’ command also allows a limited set of written questions to agencies that target the lawsuit.
