The US lawyer for Eastern Michigan County has announced an indictment this month, more than two years after Weiss, 42, was fired from a coaching position under Harbaugh after an investigation into alleged crimes.

According to the indictment, Weiss “gained unauthorized access to databases of student athletes with more than 100 colleges and universities that held a third supplier.” He then allegedly downloaded personal data and data of more than 150,000 athletes and, from there, Weiss managed to access more than 2,000 athletes, including access to their social media, and storage in the cloud.
