Actor, fitness personality and entrepreneur Jake Steinfeld weighs potential running for Governor California. Founder “Body by Jake” shared news during an interview “Show Brian Kilmeade. “
“There is a good chance that I will run for California governor,” Steinfeld said.
“I meet with many different people and there is a good, strong interest.”
La Mayor Karen Bass accused of deleting texts after a wild fire disaster
Steinfeld said the idea followed after the testimony of the destruction of the recent fires in his Pacific Palisade community. He lost his home and things in flames and has since struggled with the efforts of renovation, citing the California procedure permission as the main obstacle.
“To get a permit to do something, you need weeks and months, and sometimes a year to renovate, do something, put the roof on something,” Steinfeld said.
“That’s crazy.”
He criticized state and local leaders for their handling of the crisis.
“You hear the mayor and the governor, all that are chirping is that we are in the light, things are in the light,” he said.
“I say, come out. Come and walk with you, right. And I’ll show you.”
The fires have encouraged renewed efforts to recall both Governor Gavin News and Mayor Los Angeles Karen BassGiven that critics accuse them of not successfully responding. News, which will not be ready to re -election in 2026, withdrew against the recall, calling him a political tank.

“This time they sank to the new low – using the victims of the LA LA, for political profit,” Governor said in an official response.
Steinfeld, best known for his fitness empire, also appeared in films such as “Arrival to America” (1988) and expressed a character in Disney’s “Ratatouille” (2007). Originally from Brooklyn, he moved to California at the age of 18 to chase his dreams.
“California is the place where dreams come true,” he said.
“Unfortunately, today that dream climbed into smoke – both literally and figuratively.”
If he is running, Steinfeld said he would do so as a Republican, claiming that California had lost her way.

“He has to stop,” he said.
