Border Emperor Tom Homan defended the sending of “marked terrorists” in prisons like the one in El Salvador, saying that “travest” he saw during his decade of his career in border security justified justification Trump administration move.
Homan appeared on ABC “This week” in a pre-recorded interview aired on Sunday, where he was asked if there were any problems with sending people to the infamous El Salvador Terrorist center to close (Cecot) even if they have no criminal complaint.
“If people had been wearing my shoes for the last 40 years and they saw the grass I saw, they would realize that the worst of the worst need to be sent to prison because we have to protect American citizens,” Homan said. “We need to protect this country.”
Homan said that his four decades of experience in border safety work informed his belief.
