Delta air lines is partnership with Air Force Startup Jetzero to introduce a revolutionary aircraft design that can transform the future of commercial flying.

This new design, called a combined wing aircraft (BWB), is dramatically different from traditional pipe and wings aircraft in service.

By combining the wings and torso into one, wide, flat shape, BWB reduces withdrawal and weight, resulting in improving fuel savings up to 50% compared to Today’s aircraft.

The interior of the BWB aircraft is thoughtful to be redesigned to improve comfort and accessibility. The wider and flatter shape of the plane body allows new cabin arrangements. Delta aims to provide a dedicated above -ground trash space for each passenger, more affordable sitting sets and hinterland and fewer rows to create a less full of environment.

In addition, the engines will be mounted on top of the aircraft, which are expected to significantly reduce the noise in the cabin and reduce noise pollution around the airports.
