The 11-year-old girl in France was found dead in a wooded space near her school for hours after disappeared, Officials said on Saturday.
The girl, identified as Louise, disappeared around 2pm on Friday while on her way home from André Maurois High School in the north of France, officials at the Épinaay-sur-erge community said. Épinaay-sur-erge is located south of Paris.
Investigators searched the forest using dogs, helicopters and drones before they eventually found a girl’s body, Paris reported.
“With great emotions, we learned that Louise’s body had been found lifeless that night, in Bois des Templiers,” police wrote in Facebook on Facebook. “As soon as her disappearance was reported, all the funds were arranged to try to find her.”

The autopsy found that she had suffered “numerous wounds committed with a sharp object,” said Grégoire Dulin, public prosecutor Evry, Per Le Parisien. AND murder weapon not recovered immediately.

Dulin said the authorities had opened an investigation for “the killing of a minor under the age of 15.”
The police were detained The 23-year-old man, seen on safety shots walking behind Louise, and his 20-year-old girl, according to a French newspaper. Police released a couple from custody later on Saturday.

On Monday, police committed two new arrests: a 23-year-old man and his 55-year-old mother, Reported Franceinfo. The 23-year-old is suspected of killing Louise, while his mother was accused of not charging the crime.
French Minister of Education Élisabeth gave birth to a statement of X about the child’s death.
“After the discovery of the body of young Louise last night in Essonne, I express my condolences to her family, her loved ones, classmates and teachers,” she wrote in France. “I’m counting on investigators and a judicial system that will shed light on this tragedy.”
Police said the murder investigation was ongoing.
