The company said in response: “From an abundance of caution and in coordination with USDA, we voluntarily recalled at about 212,268 pounds of our liquid egg products that can potentially contain sodium hypochlorite. These products do not represent health consumed as noted by USDA.

The following items are subject to the recall, according to the FSIS notification:
- 32-oz. (2 lb.) Carton containing “Eggs Original Replacement for Liquid Eggs” and is used until August 10, 2025.
- 32-oz. (2 lb.) Carton containing a “original liquid egg without cage without cage” and use until 09 August 2025.
- 32-oz. (2 lb.) Carton with “original replacement for frozen eggs, without cage” and “eggs no ennjauladas original Sustituto de Huevo Conglado” and use until March 07, 2026.
- 32-oz. (2 lb.) Carton containing “Bob Evans better’n eggs made of real egg whites” and uses until August 10, 2025.
