Federal judge postpones DHS’s attempt to end Temporary Protected Status for Venezuelans

American District Judge Edward Chen of San Francisco Federal Court On Monday, he approved the delay of Noem’s commands, saying: “The court reveals that the secretary’s action is threatening: to cause irreparable damage to hundreds of thousands of people whose life, families and means of life will be seriously disturbed, cost billions of united states in economic activity, and insults and public health and safety in the United States.”

Chen also said that the Government failed to determine “any real damage” below for TPS for Venecuelan users.

“Prosecutors have also shown that they will probably be able to show that the actions taken by the secretary of unauthorized law, arbitrary and capricious, and motivated by the unconstitutional animas,” Chen wrote. “For these reasons, the court approves the prosecutor’s request to delay the challenged actions to the final decision -making of the merit of this case.”
