Elon Musk helps to conduct an investigation into leakage of a signal chat involving top national security leader and the Atlantic editor -in -chief, White house secretary Wednesday said.
“National Security Council, the White House Office, and also, yes, a team of Elona Musk,” will be investigated by the signal leakage, said printing secretary Karonline Leavitt during Wednesday at a White House press conference.
“Elon Musk offered to put his technical experts on it to realize that this number was inadvertently added to the chat – again, to take responsibility and ensure that this could never be repeated again,” she continued.
Trump’s administration faces the return reaction of Democrats and other critics after the Atlantic editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, revealed in an article published on Monday that it was added to Chat signal group with Top National security leadersIncluding National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Defense Minister Pete Hegsetha and CIA director John Ratcliffe.

The signal is an encrypted message exchange application that acts similar to sending messages or referring to phone calls, but with additional security measures that help ensure that communications are held with private those involved in the correspondence.
The initial report of the Atlantic characterized Trump’s administration as sending a “war plans” message to each other. Trump’s administration claimed that no classified material was transferred to Chat, with the President Donald Trump defending the waltz in the middle of the outburst.
Trump revealed on Tuesday that Waltz’s office member called Goldberg for an interview but did not provide additional information.
Waltz joined Fox News “Ingraham Angle” on Tuesday, where he took responsibility for the unintentional addition to Goldberg in chat, claiming that he believed the account belongs to someone else.
“I built a group. My job is to ensure that everything is coordinated,” Waltz said.
“Of course I didn’t see this loser in the group. It looked like someone else,” Waltz added. “The person I thought she had never been there there.”

Waltz also said during the interview that he had just talked to a man about the matter and that the “best technical mind” would look at it.
Musk is assisted by the Ministry of Government Efficiency, which passed through the federal agencies in search of the excessiveness of the Government, fraud and poor management.
“If this story proves anything, it proves that Democrats and their propagandists in the main media know how to invent, orchestrate and spread a campaign for disinformation,” Leavitt continued. “And there is no one in the media who loves production and pushing fraud more than Jeffrey Goldberg.”
Following the report on Monday in the Atlantic regarding the signal chat, Goldberg published a monitoring story on Wednesday that included messages directly from the chat. The article did not particularly characterize the correspondence as “war plans”, instead of referring them to them as “attack plans” in the title.

Trump’s administration replied that the accompanied story proved that there was no “war plans” in the correspondence, taking a circle of victory that the story was exposed to “fraud”.
“Atlantic acknowledged: These were not” war plans “,” Leavitt posted on Wednesday morning X. “The whole story was another fraud written by Trump-Gospoder known for his sensationalist spin.”

Waltz posted on Wednesday X, “No locations. No sources and methods. No war plans. Foreign partners have already been informed that the strikes are immediate. The bottom line: President Trump protects America and our interests.”
