“Healthy people do not consume health resources,” Oz said about the so -called “maha” movement. “The best way to reduce medication consumption is to use fewer medicines because you don’t need them.”
“The next big thing we want to focus on is the modernization of Medicare and Medicaid,” Oz said. “Thus, Americans will get the care they want, need and deserve. The need to strengthen patients and service providers, both doctors and patients, both must be equipped with better tools.”
And finally, Oz said he would try to remove any fraud or abuse in Medicare and Medicaid systems.
Medicare is a government health care program that provides coverage for approximately 65 million Americans at the age of 65, at the Medicare Center. Medicaid is a federal assistance program for about 72 million Americans with low incomes, according to Medicaid.gov.
