Donny Osmond He had a competition for his own family to beat his wife of 47, Debbie.
“She went out with my brother, and I stole her from my brother,” Osmond told Fox News Digital. “It’s a true story.”
Explained: “I went out with a girl named Tammy. And [my brother] Jay took out Debbie. We went to a double meeting at Elton John’s concert. And I remember vividly when Elton sat down for the piano to sing ‘Your Song’. I examined my brother’s meeting and I thought, “I think I’ll marry that girl one day.” And I did. ”
Osmond said he later told Elton John’s story.

“I said,” You are responsible for my marriage. “He thought it was kind of funny.”
The 67-year-old also revealed that the couple had crossed the paths of childhood.

“I actually met her when she was 3 years old. So, I literally knew her all my life,” he said.
The entertainer traveled through Billings, Montana, where Debbie was born, with his brothers and Andy Williams, and was at the airport during the release.

“Her family happened to be at the airport waiting for her uncle. They said,” Oh, these are your little osmond boys on the “Andy Williams Show”, “and they got our autograph. So I met her when she was 3 years old and I 5”
The couple got married in 1978 and They have five children: Don, Jeremy, Brandon, Chris and Josh.
“I looked at my brother’s meeting and I thought,” I think I’ll marry that girl one day. “And I did.”
“It’s a life of bliss. I mean, she’s an amazing woman and very patient, you know?” Said Osmond. “When you see your husband dancing with other women to” Dancing with the Stars “, it’s hard, I suppose, on it. But we have such a great relationship. We were friends before we got married.”

There is also a family element because the Osmond grandson, Daxton, provided the basic model for performance, and then the singer’s face, body and voice are remodeling via AI to recreate the “Puppy Love” -er Osmond.

“It’s pretty hard to start, the technology is there. But it is right without artifacts or anything like this. It’s painstakingly difficult. With a voice, not just a face, to make it as authentic as possible,” he said, noting that the company explained that he had done much easier for the job.
When Osmond saw the final product, he was truly amazed.

“Can you imagine how I feel? You know, watching yourself every night? It’s amazing. In fact, that’s exactly what my grandson said. He saw him last week for the first time, and after that he looked at me as a backstage like a grandfather. It’s amazing. Looks at himself, but it’s a grandfather.”
Daxton is already following the steps of his famous grandfather, participating in the music theater, making him a natural goal for the role.

Donny Osmond says ‘reinvention’ is key to his long -standing success in Hollywood
“He has a stage presence. And so, he was the perfect candidate for that. Not only age, but on stage presence. And we have a sweet little relationship. I call him D14. That’s his nickname.”
But the Osmond will not offer advice to the young performer.
“I’m not a father. I let go of [my son] Brandon, his father, does it. But he scored it. ”
He continued, “I mean, he would practice at home. Brandon told me this, he said he would rehearse the lines at home and everything. And when we got to the studio, he was ready. He was practicing. He remembered it all.

As an exhibition business veteran, Osmond himself received his share of advice, often from some famous names like Elvis Presley and a member of a rat pack.
“Sammy Davis Jr. gave me advice when I was a little boy because he said,” You are nervous about you when you go on stage? “And I think I probably said yes.
Osmond added, “So you know, I don’t get nervous before the stage, but they are butterflies because you want to do the best you can, because every audience is a little different, and every show I do in Vegas is a little different because of the segment I call the requirement, and that is 20 minutes of improvisation, and the audience is so recorded.
The Osmond has their own advice to anyone who wants to become an entertainer.

“One thing I always tell them is just not afraid to work, because to stay relevant … you can have a lot of fun on stage, but go in front of the mirror and make a tail. Look at yourself how other people see you and don’t believe in your own hype. You know, only when the curtain closes, you are just a normal person.
The work ethics kept a “beaten” singer in the game from the beginning, even when he made a rocky transition between Teen Idol to mature performers.

He recalled that “all kinds of crazy things” suggested to shake his image and attract his attention, good and bad.
“But I suppose I did it in a difficult way, you know, just working with my music, not trying to create titles,” he said. “Many people just want to create titles because they become popular, [they] Look, just to be popular. But I don’t think it keeps it because it’s not based on a talent. And it’s a heavier path because you would like to get these drastic titles.

“But I refused a lot of things that would shock people. But I’m not in that. I just want people to come to my show and I just say that I was having a thorough fun.”
Osmond said he was offered roles that did not fit.
“Just look at yourself how others see you and do not believe in their own hype.”
“I thought, no, that’s not me. You know, I’d rather be authentic,” he said, adding, “and so I will always be, because I think authenticity eventually wins. But I would rather be known as an entertainer, not a popular person, a personality.”

He explained the biggest change he saw in the industry since he began to “at least been raised so much.”

That’s why I added this [AI element]I think it’s because, I think, just years ago, just get up there and make a concert and that would be fine. But today the attention of the audience is Gnat. Oh, I like it. ALL RIGHT. What follows, what follows, what follows? And so you have to keep inventing yourself all the time, which does not bother me because I like to produce and create such things. Be innovative. ”

“They want experience, not just a show,” he continued. “And with that experience, they want authenticity. And they want to go, saying it’s worth more than a reception price. And that’s my philosophy in show business, it’s the audience says it’s more than what I expected, and I hear it all the time.
