DHS slams New York Times for story about rape suspect in U.S. illegally

Several other outlets also failed to inform Rojas’s immigration status, and the New York Post reported that his immigration status was unknown to the incident on Tuesday. On Friday, the post followed a separate story that reported that Rojas was in the United States illegally.

DHS has announced the announcement of the news Rojas’s ice detention May 1, three days after the Times story, which seems to be updated with his immigration status from Monday. The Times has not written additional stories about Rojas since then.

According to DHSRojas, who illegally entered the country several times from 1998, was arrested in New York and charged with rape and great theft of allegedly rape of corpse on the subway in Manhattan.
