Kristen Welker of NBC examined Sunday by Senator Adam Schiff, D-Calif.
“Do you think the advisers of former President Biden were seduced by the US people about the president’s capacities?” she asked.
NBC Welker asked about a new book written by author Chris Whipple, in which he detailed comments from the former Ron Klain staff chief, who said that Biden was “stunned” during the preparation of the hearing and that the president was “tired, confused and excluded”.
“It’s hard for me to evaluate what the closest advisers to the president saw at the time. I can only talk to the interactions I had with him, which, you know, in the months that led to his exit from the race, mostly festive opportunities,” Schiff said.

“He made the decision to get out of the race, I think it was the right decision. The vice president, as a vice president, I think, led a great campaign, but could not escape the status of Quo,” he said.
Schiff said the Democratic Party failed to resolve the economy in 2024 and that in return she lost the White House.
“The catastrophic damage they do to the economy will now make Trump and Republicans lose their congress, but both sides will have to deal with this global challenge for our economy,” he added.
Klain allegedly told Whipple that they had prepared for two ugly discussions while preparing in June, according to the excerpts from his new book, “Uncharted: How Trump beat Biden, Harris and chances in the craziest campaign in history.”

“The first was to last 90 minutes, but the Klain called him after the age of 45. The president’s voice was shot, and so his understanding of the topic. All he could really talk was his infrastructure plan and how he renovated America and 16 million jobs. He had something to say about his agenda for the second term,” Whipple wrote.
According to Whipple, the Klain said the president was irritable while pushing on the former chief of the staff proposal.

Whipple’s book is one of the few this year on the 2024 campaign, one of the most comprehensive and unpredictable election seasons in recent history.
In an interview with Politico, the author told his book that many were Biden’s closest assistants They were in the “fog of misconceptions” about the former president, and calling her “cover -up” did not go far enough.
“I have fresh reporting from hour to hour, day after day of Biden’s last days and obviously his fall is the main part of the story,” ” Whipple said politico on Sunday. “Incidentally, I think it is to call it a” cover -up “simplified. I think it was weird and much worrying than that. Biden’s inner circle, his closest advisers, many of them were in fog misconceptions and denials. They believed what they wanted to believe in.”
