Democrat city council sues mayor for allowing ICE into major American prison

The New York City Council under the supervision of Democrats sue Mayor Eric Adams for cooperation with Trump administration allowing ICE to conduct an investigation into immigration at the Rikers Island.

The City Council asks the Court to declare an executive command by the mayor’s office Led to Rikers Island “Illegal, zero and emptiness.”

The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday at the Supreme Court in New York. In the lawsuit, the City Council accuses Adamas of embarking on an illegal “quid pro quo” with Trump’s administration by allowing ICE in a city prison in exchange for rejection of federal charges of corruption against him.

The lawsuit claims that Adams, who runs for a re -choice, is a priority for his own political goals over the city’s “esteemed shrine laws”, calling the executive order “poisoned by the mayor of the mayor of Adams with Trump’s administration.”

New York council speaker Adrienne Adams, a Democrat who runs to remove Adams, on Tuesday, claimed that an order that enables Ice to conduct immigration investigations on criminals on Rikers Island “is a naked attempt by Eric Adams to fulfill his end for a special treatment of the Trump administration.”

“Today, u New York CityThe corrupt offer takes place in ordinary view: New York Mayor Eric Adams … He uses his official authority to repay Trump’s administration for dismissing criminal charges against him, “the lawsuit claims.” The “buying price” – which has been agreed in advance and now enforced by laws, “are also immigrant rights and all newborns and all stones, are the safety and all the immigrant community and the omnipotence of our immigrants of the community and all the Novo -Broads of the immigrants of the community and all Under of all Under

It is an executive order, signed last week by the Deputy Mayor of New York City Randy Mastro, which enables the federal immigration authorities to manage an office on the island of Rikers to help conduct crime investments on drug trade, organized violence and activities of migrant gangs.

The command says that the safety of New Yorkers is threatened by violent transnational gangs like MS-13 and Train Aragua -Bande, which Trump’s administration has labeled as foreign terrorist organizations and there is a critical need for the federal implementation of the law to divide real-time intelligence with the City Department for Repair and Police.

The command allows federal agencies to enforce the law to share intelligence with the repair department and NYPD about the activities of the criminal gang among individuals within and out of custody.

It does not give an ice license to carry out the implementation of civil immigration and the arrest of people simply due to unfathomance.

The command was issued a week after federal charges against Adams were rejected. He is accused of using his position as a mayor for receiving luxury trips and illegal contributions to the campaign from Turkish foreign nationals. Adams insisted that the case was politically motivated and was carried out in retaliation for criticizing the immigration policy of President Joe Biden.

Kayla Mamelak, a spokeswoman for Adams, responded to a lawsuit calling her “unfounded” and “opposite public interests.”

“The City Council seems to spread misinformation,” Mamelak told Fox News Digital. “So let’s be clear: keeping confidence of almost 8.5 million New Yorkers our administration serves and protects each day and ensures that there has never been any appearance of any conflict-mayor Adams delegated all the powers, responsibility and decision-relating to any action that approved the federal officials to investigate crimes on the island of Rikers.

“The executive order 50 is explicitly authorized by the local laws of New York – the laws adopted by the City Council,” Mamelak said. “Although we will consider the lawsuit, this one seems unfounded and opposite to the protection of New Yorkers from violent criminals.
