Three months after detecting cancer diagnosis, Dave Coulier continues the battle of his life.
During the recent interview for ABC-Wxyz in Detroit, Coulier’s wife, Melissa, she said that, although the battle for the “full house” Stips became “heavier”, they both remain positive and even participate in the wicked morning rituals that help him strengthen his confidence.
“There are a few really difficult days, and as chemotherapy is crowded, it gets harder and harder,” she said to the local station Thursday.

“She has such a positive attitude, and you need it to really fight it,” she continued. “Every morning, if it feels good, we try to sing a song and make a little dance with dogs, because when you feel good, you have to celebrate it.”
“He has had many losses in his life when it comes to dealing with cancer. He lost his mother, sister, niece. His other sister had it,” she added. “I think for him he takes every step and really draws strength from watching women who were so close to him in his life to get through it, and just wants to pay tribute to them.”
In November, Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone in his favorite TV series “Full House” in the 1980s and 90s, announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 non-hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The actor and comedian said that his diagnosis was diagnosed in October after he experienced the infection of the upper respiratory tract caused by large swelling of the lymph nodes.
“Three days later, the doctors called me again and said, ‘We would love to have better news for you, but you have a non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,'” he told People.

“I told Melissa I didn’t know why, but (I agree) with whatever the news (be), no matter how much defeating they were … I can’t explain where it comes from,” he added. “I had an incredible life. I had the most amazing people in my life. This was an extraordinary journey and I am well if this is the end of the trip.”
