Friedman, comedian and former producer Comedy Central’s “Daily show“, she shared on Instagram earlier this month that she had been questioned about political jokes when returning to America from Vancouver.
She wrote“Just the head of everyone traveling internationally, I flew back to La from Vancouver last night, and I asked the US Customs Agent what I was in the city for and after I told him that I was in the city by performing a comedy, he asked,” Do you make fun of politicians? “
Friedman continued, “It was a short exchange and I went through, but be careful there. Know your rights and continue cautiously.”

“They let her go, but they asked. I’m not trying to be an alarming, but I definitely don’t think I’m immune to have some kind of back blow or that I could be put on a kind of list because of a story I posted,” she said. “Look at other places that have dictators. You are not allowed to say bad things about them.”
