After more than two decades in Los Angeles, actress “This is US” Chrissy Metz accepts life in Nashville, Tennessee.
“I moved to Nashville,” said the 44-year-old actress and singer People Magazine in a new interview. “I was in LA for 21 years, but my family is in Florida, where I am from, and during the pandemic, I could drive to them from here. There is only a better quality of life here. Everything is 15 minutes away, which is only so much less stress.”
“There is a lot of happening,” she added. “Obviously, it’s great music, great food. I grew up in the southSo, I am used to somewhat hospitality – it feels more communal here. Recently, Metz – who has starred with Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Milo Venimiglia and Sterling K. Brown in the 2016 series to 2022 – focused on her career in music and on the upcoming edition of her new children’s book, “When I talk to God, I talk about feelings.”
“I think we are going in at this time of mental health awareness and we are just talking about our feelings in a real way,” she said. “And so I wondered, can we prevent and make the kids prevent their feelings and then express their feelings and have confidence to do so?”
